Please join us at Daufuskie's Community Church, the First Union African Baptist Church this Sunday at 10:00 am to welcome guest preacher Rev. Dr. Bruce Main. Dr. Main is the founder and President of UrbanPromise, established initially to work with the children and young adults in the inner city of Camden, NJ but now including satellite organizations in seven other cities in North America and beyond. Dr. Main has authored numerous books, been featured on Diane Sawyer's 20/20, and speaks throughout the world at conferences, churches and business seminars. It should be an exciting opportunity to hear firsthand how God is working in environments that are seemingly so distant from the quiet life of Daufuskie. All are invited to attend, regardless of your beliefs.
