From the Daufuskie Island Council:
Last Chance to Make Your Voice Heard!
The response to the Daufuskie Island Council Survey has been great. It will definitely prove a useful tool as the Council charts its course over the next year. If you haven't responded, there's still an opportunity to join your neighbors and make your voice heard. Please follow the link below to the short, 11 question survey. It should take less than ten minutes.

The Conservancy and the Haig Point Environmental Committee are partnering on a Spring Beach Sweep on Saturday, April 11,2015 at 9:30 a.m. The large amount of debris collected at the Annual Beach Sweep last September has prompted the need for a semi annual clean up.
Volunteers will gather at one of two locations on the Island:
*Gazebo at Beach Road near Bloody Point
*Calibogue Club Pool at Haig Point
Refreshments will be served courtesy of Haig Point, Melrose on the Beach and Bloody Point.
Wear enclosed shoes, sunscreen, visor or hat, bring gloves. Supplies will be provided. For questions or to volunteer, contact: Eileen Pojednic at erpojednic@aol.com or Yvonne Clemons at yclemons@columbus.rr.com
