Melrose on the Beach Daufuskie Island Update

  
Here is an update on the latest news on Daufuskie Island and the Melrose on the Beach Club. The Melrose on the Beach Club is still moving forward with their original plan. They are working on getting the restaurant portion of the beach club up and running and then will move onto the Pro-shop and Jack’s Restaurant. Sometime next year they will begin on the Melrose Inn. The Beach Club pool is open and has the grill up and running doing burgers and hot-dogs poolside. The beach club has remained busy all through July and we do not perceive it slowing down anytime soon. The pool hours are as follows:

(After July 8th Pool will remain open. Hours may change)

Adult $12 (age 13 and up)
Children $8 (age 4-12)
Children 3 and under Free
Weekly Passes
Adult $60(age 13 and up)
Children $40 (age 4-12)

In other news the equestrian center has hired a long time Daufuskie Islander, Peggy Noon. She has started haunted trail rides, beach rides, and pony rides. They are also looking for a new burrow or pony to help out with the pony rides. To learn more about what is happening at the equestrian center call- 843/341/2894
