Daufuskie Island Community Library

The lazy days of summer are upon us. Don’t forget the Daufuskie Island Community Library where you can find both recent best-sellers and the classics you’ve always wanted to read…as well as a varied collection of books for children of all ages. There are also DVD’s and audiobooks. The Library is open Tuesday – Saturday, 12:30 to 3:30 – at the Jane Hamilton School on Old Haig Point Road. Island visitors, as well as residents, may use the Library. All books in the Library have been generously donated  and we ask - PLEASE – limit future donations to books published in the last 2-3 years only, DVDs, and audiobooks on CDs. The Bargain Box or Friends of Hilton Head Library would welcome all other books you wish to pass on for others to enjoy.
