Valentine's Day is Always Fun on Daufuskie Island

I remember many Valentine's Days or evenings I should say at Marshside Mama's on Daufuskie Island. It really is a very fun place to be, even in February. The DI Council will hold its yearly election on February 11, 2012 at the Mary Field School starting at 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM. The following candidates are on the ballot: John Coulter, David Helmuth, Chuck Hunter, Kaaren Montgomery, Terri Painter, John Schartner, Jodi Smith, Catherine Tillman. f you are unable to attend the day of the vote, proxy ballots can be submitted to Mr. Chris Hutton at P.O. Box 51,Daufuskie Island S.C. 29915. For ballot copies go to www.daufuskieislandcouncil.com. Ballots must be received by 3:00 PM on February 11. All proxies must be submitted with a copy of a a verification document.
