Pat Conroy Book Signing
This was one of the greatest weeks of my life. I got to meet the famed author Pat Conroy, speaking and signing books at my alma mater Oglethorpe University in Atlanta. He is an extraordinary storyteller and spoke about his younger years in Beaufort and a little on teaching School on Daufuskie Island. I highly recommend the Water is Wide about Daufuskie Island but I also recommend Pats newest book the Pat Conroy Cookbook. It's not so much a cook book as storys of the famed authors life and recipes that are included.
